Happy New Year! January brings us great bluegrass music all around Northern California starting with the California Bluegrass Association’s Great 48 in Bakersfield and ending with the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s FREE Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City. There are many other fine shows throughout the month, some of which are included in this selective list.

Redwood City’s Kitchen Help is set to perform at The Summit House, on Highway 17 six miles south of Los Gatos, on Thursday, December 29, 2016.

The popular FREE Every-Thursday Bluegrass Series began in January 2016 and is the home of bluegrass music in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Music will run 6:00-6:30pm in a program welcomed by the NCBS and presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos 95033. Tasty food and drink will be served during the performance.

There will be plenty of bluegrass music for Northern California Bluegrass Music Fans all during New Year’s Week. Here are the listings:
