NCBS welcomes the Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival.
North Bay favoriteĀ David Grisman will host the 3rd Annual SSU Bluegrass Festival on the campus ofĀ Sonoma State University inĀ Rohnert Park onĀ Sunday, July 9, 2017.
The Line-Up:Del & Dawg Bluegrass Band, Mark O’Connor & The O’Connor Family Band, and Sierra Hull.
The festival will take place at The Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, a beautiful campus venue that is a perfect place for an afternoon of top-notch bluegrass music performed by nationally-famous performers.
The event is welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.
AJ Lee & Blue Summit (Santa Cruz) will return to the main stage of the 24th Annual Northern California Bluegrass Society Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival.

The Santa Cruz Mountains’ own Goat Hill Girls will play this coming Thursday, June 1, as part of theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomed FREEĀ Thursday Bluegrass Series presented by theĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.
Fine food and drink will be served amid great views in every direction at the top of Highway 17.Ā The music is scheduled for 6:00-8:30pm. The Summit House is located at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos (six miles south of Los Gatos).
Blueberries, cherries, and strawberries will be ready for picking and gathering.
TheĀ 13th Annual Pick & Gather Festival presented byĀ Riverdance Farms inĀ Livingston (near Merced) will be held thisĀ Saturday, Sunday & Monday, May 27-29, 2017.
TheĀ Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline, joined by a full schedule of performers Ā The event will offer live music, camping, fruit in season for picking, good food and information about organic farming, river education, and swimming in the Merced River. Workshops will include music, flyfishing, kayaking, and more.
The annual gathering is welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society. Look for the friendly NCBS Information Booth!
The CBA parade entry will feature live bluegrass bands playing on the float itself and aĀ Marching Unit Open To Bluegrass Fans of any sexual orientation.

The parade unit will encourage everyone to enjoy bluegrass music in Northern California and everyone is also invited to the open bluegrass jam that will follow the parade.
Sagebrush will play May 25, as part of the Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomed FREE Thursday Bluegrass Series presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.
Fine food and drink will be served while the music runs from 6:00-8:30pm.

NCBS welcomes bluegrass music at the Redwood City celebration!
ThisĀ Saturday, May 20, 2017,Redwood City will celebrate itsĀ 150th Anniversary as a city with a FREE celebration, starting with a great bluegrass music concert featuringĀ 27strings andĀ The Stoney Mountain Ramblers on theĀ Main Street Stage in downtown Redwood City.

The bluegrass begins atĀ Noon in an area where multiple restaurants offer outdoor seating with a great view of the stage ā perfect for a relaxed lunch outing with friends. Other seating is also available if you donāt wish to eat during the 2-hour show.
Other music will follow on the Main Street and Courthouse Square stages throughout the afternoon and evening.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society helped bring bluegrass music to the historical party and the friendlyĀ NCBS Information Booth will be there to welcome everyone during the bluegrass show.
