The 11th annualĀ Bluegrass On Broadway Festival will be heldĀ January 26-28, 2018 inĀ Redwood City.
The FREE festival has been presented by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society each year sinceĀ 2008.
Principal financial support for the festival comes from the Redwood City community, including theĀ Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.
One Week Reminder: December 31, 2017 is theĀ Band Application Deadline for bands wishing to play the Main Stage at theĀ 25th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 9-12, 2018 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
The Thursday Bluegrass Series at The Summit House in theĀ Santa Cruz Mountains will present The Blue J’s onĀ December 28th.
TheĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill has FREE bluegrass each week fromĀ 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served. All performances are presented by theĀ The Summit House and welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The Thursday Bluegrass Series at the top ofĀ Highway 17 in theĀ Santa Cruz Mountains, will bring us AJ Lee & Blue Summit to perform onĀ December 21st.

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes theĀ 13th Annual Devilās Canyon Brewing Company Holiday Hootenanny inĀ San Carlos onĀ Friday, December 15, 2017. Doors will open atĀ 4:00pm.
This year, for the first time, the program will feature two stages.Ā Main Stage Bands will includeĀ The Brookdale Bluegrass Band, The Stoney Mountain Ramblers, Pathertic Honey String Band, & John Henryās Farm.Ā The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers will be among other acts to perform on theĀ Second Stage.
The FREE late afternoon & evening gathering will offer fine craft beer and good food. The event is presented byĀ Devilās Canyon and organized byĀ Scott Dailey.
This is the final weekend for the San Francisco run ofĀ Steve Martin & Edie Brickel’s Americana/Bluegrass musicalĀ Bright Star at theĀ Curran Theater inĀ San Francisco. The final show is on Sunday,Ā December 17.

The 13th Annual Holiday Hootenanny will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company in San Carlos, with four great bands playing onstage from 5:00-11:00pm on December 15, with additional performances and jamming taking place throughout the evening.
This is a FREE event, with craft beer and food available.
