Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show, January 27 in Redwood City.

The 2018 Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show & Concert will be held at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center Theatre, 1455 Madison Avenue in Redwood City.

The show will run 10:00am-5:00pm on Saturday, January 27.

The FREE program will be part of a musical weekend in Redwood City. The Northern California Bluegrass Society has presented the annual Bluegrass On Broadway Festival each January since 2008 with principal financial support from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.

Redwood City Is The Home Of Bluegrass Music On The SF Peninsula

Redwood City is the Peninsula’s Home Of Bluegrass Music. The city has a strong tradition of supporting the arts and has a deep appreciation of good music. Bluegrass music is a regular feature of local civic celebrations.

For the past 11 years, the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission has awarded a base grant that allows the Northern California Bluegrass Society to present the Bluegrass On Broadway Festival on the last weekend of January.

The highlight of the BOB festival is the Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show & Concert, set for Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Veteran’s Memorial Senior Center Theatre.

The FREE day-long program runs from 10:00am-5:00pm and is open to the public.

Stoney Mountain Ramblers Set For Freewheel Brewing Company As Part Of Bluegrass On Broadway

The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced that the Stoney Mountain Ramblers will perform at the Freewheel Brewing Company on Sunday, January 28, 2018, as part of the NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival.

The 11th annual festival will be held at various venues throughout Redwood City, the Peninsula’s home of bluegrass music. The FREE weekend of music will run January 26-28.

The Freewheel Brewing Company, 3736 Florence Street, offers fine beer and food options.

Bluegrass On Broadway receives principal financial support from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, the Redwood City Department of Parks Recreation & Community Services, and other Redwood City area businesses, organizations and individuals.

AJ Lee & Blue Summit To Perform At The Summit House On January 18

AJ Lee & Blue Summit

The Thursday Bluegrass Series at The Summit House brings FREE bluegrass music to the Santa Cruz Mountains every week and will present AJ Lee & Blue Summit on January 18.

The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill shows run from 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served at the top of Highway 17,  6 miles south of Los Gatos.
