TheĀ 25th Annual event will benefit the year-round work of the Northern California Bluegrass Society in promoting bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California.
The fun, relaxed gathering will be held onĀ August 9-12, 2018 at the beautifulĀ San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).
The Purple Mountain Majesty Boys will play the FREEĀ Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series near Los Gatos onĀ May 24 fromĀ 6:00-8:30pm.
TheĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill is at the top ofĀ Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains and the views are endless.
Each week, the Summit House presents this great bluegrass show and serves fine pub food and drink.
The event is welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.
TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome theĀ 14th Annual Pick & Gather Festival,Ā set forĀ May 26-28 inĀ Livingston (near Merced). TheĀ Memorial Day Weekend bluegrass music (and beyond) and farm-to-table gathering will be presented byĀ Riverdance Farms.
The relaxed weekend will feature a wide variety of music along with the chance to pick your own blueberries, cherries, and strawberries. Camping in the walnut orchard is available, while swimming and otherĀ Merced RiverĀ activities will be available.

The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, a popular benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society since 1994, will be held for the 25th time onĀ August 9-12, 2018 in Tres Pinos.

Molly Tuttle will headline this Saturday evening at theĀ Third Annual Berkeley Bluegrass Festival,Ā presented by theĀ Freight & Salvage inĀ Berkeley. Meanwhile, Darol Anger will do the honors for Sunday evening’s closing show. The festival enjoyed a successful kickoff on Friday with Laurie Lewis as the evening’s headliner.
