The Berkeley Bluegrass Festival will return to the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley the weekend of May 17-19, 2019. The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes this annual event to our area.
The Spring 2019 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos on April 19-21, 2019. Peter Rowan will perform. The complete festival band schedule is below. Free camping in included in all tickets.
The festival has been presented by Brookdale Bluegrass since 1998 and has been welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society beginning with the very first event.

The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2019, Noon-6:00pm.
This FREE Rite Of Spring for the bluegrass community is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society and will be held at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, near the courthouse in Santa Cruz.
Blue Summit will come to the Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomed Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series this March 21. The FREE show will run 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served. The weekly series is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill at the top of Highway 17, high in the Santa Cruz Mountains (and 6 miles south of Los Gatos).
The Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund assists students who will need financial help in order to attend the Walker Creek Spring 2019 Music Camp. Donations to the scholarship fund are now being collected.
NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the fund and makes the scholarship awards. The camp will be run by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch near Petaluma the weekend of April 11-14.

The 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held Thursday-Sunday, August 8-11, 2019. More information will be announced soon.
The relaxed gathering of California bluegrass musicians and their fans will benefit the good works of the Northern California Bluegrass Society throughout the year.
The lovely new home of the GOF festival is the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).
