JULY

8 — NCBS Board of Directors Candidate Statements due.

22 — Last day to purchase Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Discount Advance Tickets.

AUGUST

6 — Mail-In Ballots for NCBS election must be received.

8-11 — The Historic 30th Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, San Benito County Historical Park, Tres Pinos. Thursday at Noon — Gates Open.

10 — NCBS Board of Directors Election, Polls Open –10:00am-5:00pm. Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, Tres Pinos.

30-September 1 — Plumas Homegrown Americana Festival, Plumas County Fairgrounds, Quincy. (NCBS-welcomed)

NCBS Welcomes FREE Summer Bluegrass & Americana Music Festival This Saturday June 22 In Los Gatos

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the FREE Sounds Of Summer Bluegrass & Americana Music Festival this Saturday, June 22 on the Town Plaza Of Los Gatos. The first annual gathering is presented by Los Gatos Music & Arts.

TICKETS: Discount Advance Tickets are now on sale on this website and by mail. NCBS Members receive a deep discount and Non-Members receive a discount.

The Historic 30th Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held August 8-11 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

The festival is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

One Month Reminder: NCBS Membership & Volunteer Party Is Saturday July 13

One Month Reminder: The NCBS Gathering, the FREE annual party for Northern California Bluegrass Society Members & Volunteers, will be held Saturday July 13 at Loch Lomond Park in Felton. There will be a full band schedule, free food & drink, friends, fun, and jamming. Eric Burman & The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline.

Loch Lomond interpretive tours on the “Newell Jewell” pontoon boat will be offered around the lake on Saturday, July 13 from 11:00am-Noon. Tours can accommodate up to 25 people, with sign-ups in the park store. First come, first served. Tours are offered by the park free of charge.

FREE Camping Is Included In All Good Old Fashioned Festival Multi-Day Tickets

FREE camping is included in all multi-day tickets at the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival. This applies to all tents and RVs. No reservations are required. No hookups are available.

The San Benito County Historical Park has grass, trees, restrooms and showers.

The Historic 30th festival will be held August 8-11, 2024.
