Festival Poster & Shirt Art Submissions Are Welcomed For The 2025 Good Old Fashioned

Note: A designer has been selected for the 2025 festival. Thanks to everyone for their interest and participation.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes submissions of Poster & Shirt Art for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival. The 31st annual gathering will be held August 7-10, 2025 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

Late For The Train

No Brookdale Bluegrass Festival In 2025

There will be no Brookdale Bluegrass Festival in 2025. The festival has been presented by Eric Burman & Brookdale Bluegrass since 2000, usually at the Brookdale Lodge or another Santa Cruz Mountains location.

For many years, there were two — or even three — festivals held each year. The festival will not be held this year principally due to landlord issues. Future plans are uncertain. The festival has been welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society since its inception.

The Workshop Teacher Application for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is available on this website. Applications are due on March 30, 2025. The festival runs August 7-10, with workshops held on Friday & Saturday, August 8 & 9. The GOF is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society and will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
