Northern California Bluegrass Society favorites will be featured at the Whippoorwill Arts Festival Of Americana Music, coming FREE this weekend — Saturday & Sunday, August 29 & 30, 2020.
Performers include Molly Tuttle, Annie Staninec, Snap Jackson, Keith Little, Brittany Hass, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, & more. The Nell & Jim Band will host the show, which is presented by Whippoorwill Arts. The program includes performances, workshops, Q&A sessions, and award presentations.

This virtual show is now available in archive form. The Northern California Bluegrass Society staged the livestream program in the Santa Cruz Mountains to take the place of the cancelled 4-day in-person festival usually held in Tres Pinos.

Registration opens on Tuesday, August 25 for the International Bluegrass Music AssociationĀ 2020 World Of Bluegrass Convention.The virtual event is September 28-October 3. The expanded version (that replaces the annual in-person Raleigh, NC event) will run an extra day (Monday-Saturday).
Some FREE streaming programming (donations accepted) will also be available for those who do not register for the full convention.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA. For the first time, West Coast bluegrass folks can skip the cross-country travel and be full participants without leaving home!
