TheĀ 27th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival OnlineĀ took place on August 8, 2020.
The line-up included AJ Lee & Blue Summit,Ā Goat Hill Girls,Ā Brookdale Bluegrass Band andĀ Mike Fisher & Joanne Tanner.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society presented the virtual show that replaced the in-person festival normally held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.Ā

This weekend’s online CBA Jam-A-Thon will benefit the California Bluegrass Association’s Youth Programs. Donations will be accepted. The program features a number of NCBS favorites, including both local and national bands.
The weekend-long show continues on Saturday & Sunday, January 9 &10.
Many favorite NCBS bluegrass bands are included in this weekend’s CBA Jam-A-Thon line-up, along with top bands from across the country. Proceeds from the online program will benefit the California Bluegrass Association’s Youth Programs.
The weekend-long show will begin on Friday, January 8 at 5:00pm. It will end on Sunday, January 10. Donations will be accepted.
The online IBMA Women in Bluegrass Summit on Thursday, January 7 will include panel discussions and presentations on gender equity from renowned artists and women in the business. This FREE program is presented by the International Bluegrass Music Associationās Womenās Council.
The program will begin at 9:00am Pacific Time and end at 12:30pm. The IBMA Zoom Meeting Room has reached capacity, but the summit will be viewable live on theĀ IBMA Facebook Event Page.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA.
