The 23rd Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is moving next door — from Bolado Park to the San Benito County Historical Park. The festival is still in tiny Tres Pinos and still in the same lovely valley, 7 miles south of Hollister.

The Vivants (San Francisco) and The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (Los Gatos) will perform at the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s 23rd Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for Thursday-Sunday, August 11-14, 2016.
The festival is a benefit that supports the Society’s efforts to promote bluegrass music all year long in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and throughout Northern California.
The event has a fantastic new home after 22 wonderful years at Bolado Park. The bluegrass fun will take place at the San Benito County Historical Park, which is right next door to the original festival venue.
There will be plenty of tickets at the gate, or tickets can be purchased on this website. The Entrance Gate will open Thursday at Noon.
The new hot young Santa Cruz bluegrass band Blue Summit is headed for the Thursday-Sunday, August 11-14 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, along with Boulder Creek’s Damdave & The Left Hand Band.
The 23rd annual benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society will be held at its beautiful new home, the San Benito County Historical Park, 7 miles south of Hollister and right next door to Bolado Park.

Only festival staff will be allowed into the grounds before that time.
Early arrivals will be turned away.
Sidesaddle & Co and Glad To Be Here are set for the 23rd Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival this August 11-14 in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister, next door to Bolado Park).
The festival will be held at its beautiful new home at the San Benito County Historical Park, 8300 Airline Highway, Tres Pinos. Our hosts will be the friendly folks of the San Benito County Historical Society.
Gates will open at Noon on Thursday. Only staff will be admitted before that time.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced the performance schedule for the First Stage at the 23rd Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 11-14, 2016 at the San Benito County Historical Park (next to Bolado Park in Tres Pinos).

First Stage
Noon — Tomas & Friends (Tomas Enguidanos, Dave Earl, Glenn Dauphin, Sullivan Tuttle), San Leandro.
1:00pm — Edgewood Mountain Boys, Palo Alto.
1:45 — Down The Road Ramblers, Cotati.
2:30 — Sage & The Coyotes (Sage Kerr, Niko Quale, Elvis Enguidanos, Samuel Enguidanos, Kevin Lude), Placerville.
(The Main Stage Schedule will begin at 3:00pm.)
The 23rd Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Main Stage will feature The Dim Lights and Vintage Grass along with 23 more great bands.
