December 31 Is Last Day To Apply To Play The GOF Festival Main Stage

The Deadline for Main Stage Band Applications for the 2025 NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is December 31, 2024. Only California-based bands are eligible to play on this stage. Other GOF stages will be booked at a later date.

The beloved 31st annual gathering of California musicians and their friends will be held August 7-10 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

 

Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Workshop Teacher Application Is Available On This Website

The Workshop Teacher Application for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is available on this website. Applications are due on March 30, 2025.

The festival runs August 7-10, with workshops held on Friday & Saturday, August 8 & 9.

The GOF is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society and will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

GOF Main Stage Bands Applications Are Now Available On This Website — Due December 31

The Application for Bands Wishing To Perform On The Main Stage at the 31st Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, Thursday-Sunday August 7-10, 2025 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos is now available on this website.

Band Applications (Main Stage) are DUE by December 31, 2024. California-based bands are encouraged to apply. The other stages will be booked at a later date.

2024 Improvements At The San Benito County Historical Park

Major improvements to the San Benito County Historical Park are ongoing throughout 2024.

Ending in January, the existing restrooms were renovated.

In May, many new trees were planted near the stage area and throughout the campground.

In November and December, the entire park water system will be upgraded to supply potable water.

Also by the end of the year, an additional permanent restroom and shower unit will be added to the park.

The park is the home of the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival. The San Benito County Historical Society runs the park, which is a San Benito County Park.
