The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival. The NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, originally scheduled for August 12-15, has been cancelled. It will return in 2022.
In the interest of public safety and health, Brookdale Bluegrass has announced that the use of vaccines to prevent serious Covid illness and death of Brookdale Bluegrass Festival attendees is preferred for all attendees. However, the festival will have an alternate process to evaluate people who come to the gate without official proof of vaccination. There is more information on the Brookdale Bluegrass website.
The best solution for this and all future festivals (and life in general) is to become vaxed up as soon as possible and to always travel with official proof in either paper or electronic form. The vaccine is FREE and WIDELY AVAILABLE.
