The deadline for Main Stage Band Applications for the 2025 NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass FestivalĀ is December 31, 2024. Only California-based bands are eligible to play on this stage. Other GOF stages will be booked at a later date.
The deadline for Workshop Teacher Applications to host a workshop at the 2025 festival is March 30, 2025.
The 31st annual gathering of California musicians and their friends will be August 7-10Ā at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
The Northern California Bluegrass SocietyĀ welcomes the FREE 19th Annual Holiday Hootenanny on Friday, December 13Ā at 4:00pm. This has become a fun and enduring Bay Area bluegrass tradition! Thanks to Scott Dailey for booking this event.
The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company,Ā 935 Washington Street in San Carlos.Ā Fine beer will be served and a variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.

The Workshop Teacher Application for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is available on this website. Applications are due on March 30, 2025.
The festival runs August 7-10, with workshops held on Friday & Saturday, August 8 & 9.
The GOF is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society and will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
