TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations for student scholarships for theĀ Fall 2016 Camp, set forĀ October 6-9. A NCBS committee manages the fund for scholarships for students in need of financial assistance.
Donations can be sent to: Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, PO Box 390846, Mountain View, CA 94039-0846, Attn: NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund.
TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization aka theĀ Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, accepts the donations and disburses the scholarships. Donations to the NCBS fund are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donors should consult their tax advisors. The Federal Tax ID No. is 94-2907716. Seven Week Reminder: Film submissions for the 10th Annual NCBS Bluegrass Film Festival are due by October 22, 2016.
The film festival is part of the FREE Bluegrass On Broadway Festival, set for January 27-29, 2017 in Redwood City.
Five Week Reminder: Nominations for the 2017 Northern California Bluegrass Awards are due by October 8, 2016.
Categories: Band, Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, Dobro, & Bass.
Paper nominations are accepted at the NCBS Booth (this weekend at the Strawberry Information Booth) or nominations may be made by E-Mail.
