The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is looking for two very special volunteers for the August 10-13, 2017 gathering. We need a volunteer coordinator and a gate crew chief. These fun, key positions will play a big role in planning and running the 24th festival.

The line-up has been announced for the Saturday, March 18, 2017 Stanley Sing at La Promenade Cafe in San Francisco. The 3:00-10:00pm program is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Bluegrass musicians will take turns performing favorite songs of The Stanley Brothers and related bands.

The La Promenade at 3643 Balboa Street is the FREE event’s new home, replacing The Lucky Horseshoe.

The Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series will present traditional bluegrass with Kitchen Help on February 23, 2017 from 6:00-8:30pm..
The FREE series is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society’s Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair is set for Saturday, May 6, 2017. The FREE afternoon concert in San Lorenzo Park will be held at the Duck Pond Stage. The fair has ben held since 1986 and is the oldest NCBS/SCBS event.
