One Month Reminder: Main Stage Band Applications for the 2017 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival are due on December 31, 2016.
The Edgewood Mountan Boys will perform as part of the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s 10th Annual Bluegrass On Broadway Festival on Saturday evening, January 28, 2017 at the Freewheel Brewing Company.
The energetic “roaming hillbilly” band is from Redwood City and has emerged as the Peninsula’s hottest new bluegrass band over the past year.
The weekend-long FREE festival will be held at various venues in Redwood City and is principally-financed by a grant from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.
The Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company will present the Holiday Hootenanny on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:00-11:00pm in San Carlos.
The FREE gathering is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
There will be great bluegrass music, great beer and great food.
Scott Dailey organizes the event.
The Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series at the top of Highway 17, 6 miles south of Los Gatos will continue in December.

8 — Wildcat Mountain Ramblers
Music will run 6:00-8:30pm in a program welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society and presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos 95033. Excellent food and drink will be served during the performance.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Winter Gathering for 2016 has been moved back into November, so the December listing is short this year — one NCBS-welcomed FREE Friday evening gathering with beer, one internet event and one folk-oriented campout. Enjoy!

DamDave & The Left Hand Band will perform at the 2016 Brookdale Winter Gathering on Sunday, November 27 at 7:00pm.
The line-up also includes the headliner Freebo and host band The Brookdale Bluegrass Band.
The program will be held at Don Quixote’s in downtown Felton and will be welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
