TheĀ Devilās Canyon Brewing Company Holiday Hootenanny has added The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (Santa Cruz Mountains) to the line-up performing at the craft brewing company inĀ San Carlos onĀ Friday, December 15, 2017. The event is presented byĀ Devilās CanyonĀ and organized byĀ Scott Dailey. The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes this FREE bluegrass party.
Six Week Reminder: The deadline forĀ Main Stage Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Band Applications is December 31, 2017 for the 25th Anniversary Festival in August 2018.
Since 1998, the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival has been held each March and December in the San Lorenzo Valley. TheĀ festivals are presented byĀ Brookdale Bluegrass and are welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.
However, there will be noĀ Winter Brookdale Bluegrass Festival this year. The next Brookdale gathering will be theĀ Spring 2018 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival to be heldĀ March 9-11 on theĀ Felton/Ben Lomond border at theĀ Mt. Cross Camp. This was the popular venue for last year’s spring event.

The Devilās Canyon Brewing Company Holiday Hootenanny has announced that The Stoney Mountain Ramblers (Menlo Park) and Cryin’ Shame (La Honda) will be among the bands performing at the 13th annual gathering inĀ San Carlos onĀ Friday, December 15, 2017.
The 4:00-11:00pm event is presented byĀ Devilās Canyon and organized byĀ Scott Dailey.

Seven Week Reminder: Main Stage Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Band Applications for the August 9-12, 2018 gathering in Tres Pinos are due by December 31, 2017.
The FREEĀ 2018Ā Bluegrass On Broadway Festival will be held January 26-28 inĀ Redwood City. The festival has been presented by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society each year sinceĀ 2008.
Principal financial support for the festival comes from the Redwood City community, including theĀ Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.
