The final 2017 Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert is set for April 22 at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street in Mounain View. This show is currently planned as the last in the series. All RBA programs are welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
A FREE bluegrass concert with Peninsula favorites 27strings and The Stoney Mountain Ramblers followed by a full afternoon and evening of other music will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
The music is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The bluegrass show is part of a day-long celebration of Redwood City’s 150th Anniversary and will be held in downtown Redwood City. Redwood City is the “Peninsula Home of Bluegrass Music” and supports the NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival each January.

Main Street Stage (at Broadway):
Noon — 27strings
1:00pm — The Stoney Mountain Ramblers
Other music on the Main Street and Courthouse Square Stages will run Noon-8:00pm. The bluegrass show will be in an area where there are many restaurants that have outdoor seating with a view of the stage, in addition to other available seating.
The Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert for Saturday, March 18 at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street in Mountain View will feature John Reischman & The Jaybirds. All RBA programs are welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Doors open at 7:00pm and concert time is 7:30pm. An open jam hosted by The Handsome Ladies will be held at 5:00pm.
The final RBA show will be held on April 22: The Grande Finale With The Faultliners Featuring Keith Little with 27strings.

The Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill will present Hidden Stillon March 16 from 6:00-8:30pm.
The FREE weekly series is presented by the Summit House and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The Summit House is located at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos (six miles south of Los Gatos) on Highway 17.
Good food and drink will be served during the show.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced the Main Stage Line-Up for the 24th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 10-13, 2017 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).

The Saturday, March 18, 2017 Stanley Sing will be held at a new location — the La Promenade Cafe at 3643 Balboa Street in San Francisco.
The FREE 3:00-10:00pm program is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The bluegrass musicians who stage the show will take turns performing favorite songs of The Stanley Brothers and related bands.
