The Northern California Bluegrass Society Information Booth will be at events all during the 2017 Live Music Season in Northern California.
The booth will have flyers and sage advice about ALL area festivals, concerts, and workshops (including those events presented by the NCBS itself). The first festival outing for the 2017 season will be the March 10-12 Brookdale Bluegrass Spring Festival in Felton. The booth will appear at approximately 25 events this year (about every two weeks or so).
The service is FREE to both music presenters and music fans.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the 13th Annual Pick & Gather Festival presented by Riverdance Farms in Livingston (near Merced) on Saturday & Sunday, May 27-28, 2017.
(NOTE NEW DATES: The 2017 event was originally set for the preceding weekend, but has been moved to Memorial Day weekend due to the rainy late winter and early spring weather.)
The event will feature bluegrass and other live music, camping, fruit in season for picking, good food and information about organic farming, water quality information, and swimming in the pleasant Merced River.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline.

The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair has been rescheduled to SUNDAY, May 7. The original date was Saturday, May 6, but has been changed due to a scheduling conflict..
The FREE afternoon concert in San Lorenzo Park will be held at the Duck Pond Stage. The fair has ben held since 1986 and is the oldest NCBS/SCBS event.

The Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill will present The Goat Hill Girls on March 2, 2017 from 6:00-8:30pm..
The FREE weekly series is presented by the Summit House and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The Summit House is located at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos (six miles south of Los Gatos) on Highway 17.

The final two Redwood Bluegrass Associates concerts are set for March & April at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street in Mounain View.

The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is looking for two very special volunteers for the August 10-13, 2017 gathering. We need a volunteer coordinator and a gate crew chief. These fun, key positions will play a big role in planning and running the 24th festival.

The line-up has been announced for the Saturday, March 18, 2017 Stanley Sing at La Promenade Cafe in San Francisco. The 3:00-10:00pm program is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Bluegrass musicians will take turns performing favorite songs of The Stanley Brothers and related bands.
