The 24th AnnualĀ Northern California Bluegrass SocietyĀ Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival inĀ Tres Pinos,Ā August 10-13, 2017, is a benefit for the NCBS.
It will be held for the second year at the San Benito County Historical Park, next to Bolado Park (7 miles south of Hollister).
Saturday, April 22, 2017 is the final Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert in Mountain View at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street.
All RBA programs are welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The Grand Finale will bring us The Faultliners and 27strings.
A jam will begin at 5:00pm, followed by the 7:30pm concert.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will perform at the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society‘s FREE Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park in Santa Cruz.
This year the fair will be held onĀ SUNDAY, May 7 fromĀ Noon toĀ 6:00pm. (Note new date.)
Also on the afternoon bill:Ā AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Bean Creek, The Down Beets, Henry & Ella Warde Band, & The Harmony Grits.
Bring a blanket or chair, a picnic, and your friends! Food will be available. This Rite Of The Bluegrass Springtime has been held every May since 1986 and is the traditional start of the Northern California outdoor bluegrass music season.
TheĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill Thursday Bluegrass Series will present mountaintop favoritesĀ The Goat Hill Girls this coming Thursday, April 6. The FREE weekly series is presented by theĀ Summit HouseĀ and welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Music runs fromĀ 6:00-8:30pm with fine food and drink available. TheĀ Summit House is located atĀ 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos on Highway 17.

The Stoney Mountain Ramblers will perform at a FREE bluegrass concert followed by a full afternoon and evening of other music onĀ Saturday, May 20, 2017 to celebrateĀ Redwood City’s 150th Anniversary. The program is part of a day-long historical & cultural gathering held in downtownĀ Redwood City.
The music is welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.

1:00pm —Ā The Stoney Mountain Ramblers
Other music on the Main Street and Courthouse Square Stages will run Noon-8:00pm. The bluegrass show will be in a downtown area where there are many restaurants that have outdoor seating with a view of the stage, in addition to other available seating.
The last (for now)Ā Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert onĀ Saturday, April 22 at theĀ Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street inĀ Mountain View will be headlined byĀ The Faultliners. The opening act will be 27strings.
