This week at the Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill fine food and drink will be served, along with great bluegrass music by the original Summit House band, The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers.

The Festival: The3rd Annual Sonoma State Bluegrass Festival will be held Sunday, July 9 at Weill Hall & Lawn at the beautiful on-campus Green Music Center of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park. Gates open at Noon and showtime is 2:00pm.
Line-Up: Del & Dawg Bluegrass Band (Del McCoury & David Grisman), The Mark O’Connor Family Band, and Sierra Hull.
Tickets:
Indoor — $45. Lawn — $25.
There will be plenty of tickets at the gate.
Weather: Nice & Sunny. High 83, Low 52.

Sonoma State University is in Rohnert Park, approximately one hour north of San Francisco on Highway 101.

Situated on the campus of Sonoma State University, the Green Music Center entrance is off the Rohnert Park Expressway near the intersection of Petaluma Hill Road. From Highway 101, take the Rohnert Park Expressway exit. Drive east 2.2 miles to the Sonoma State University entrance on your right.
As you enter campus from Rohnert Park Expressway, there are multiple parking lots immediately to your right. Parking in Lots L, M, N and O is included in the price of your ticket for all concerts at the Green Music Center.
Bring: Blankets and lawn chairs for outdoor seating. Dress in layers for outdoor seating.
Food & Drink: Outside food may be brought for your picnic. However, no outside liquids (including water, beer, wine or sodas) may be carried into the hall or onto the lawn. Free water bottle-filling stations are available. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

The San Benito County Historical Society will host the Northern California Bluegrass Society’s 24th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at the San Benito County Historical Park.
This will be the second year that the festival has been held at the lovely new location. The August 10-13 festival was held for its first 22 years at Bolado Park, next door to the Historical Park in Tres Pinos, 7 miles south of Hollister.
The Del & Dawg Bluegrass Band (Del McCoury & David Grisman), Sierra Hull, and the Mark O’Connor Family Band will perform at the Third Annual Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival at the Green Music Center on July 9.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society officially welcomes this third annual North Bay event, which will take place on campus at The Weill Hall & Lawn.
Gates for the indoor/outdoor Sunday afternoon program will open at Noon.
