The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, a strong bluegrass venue for the past 8 years and host of the NCBS/SCBS Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair during the pandemic, will close on September 30, 2022.

Three Thursday Night Bluegrass Shows remain on the schedule. The sweeping views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the good food and drink can be enjoyed with live bluegrass music 6:00-8:30pm on:

September 15 — Purple Mountain Majesty

September 22 — Hosted Onstage Jam starring You.

Owner Roseanne Mayclin and her family have offered to sell the business rather than shut it down if there is an interested buyer.  The family hopes to start a new establishment featuring live bluegrass after they resettle in the Central Valley town of Newman.

Thanks to area bluegrass musicians, especially including Robert Cornelius, who made the music happen at The Summit House.
