Time To Send Flyers To The NCBS Information Booth — First 2026 Event Is March 14

The Northern California Bluegrass Society Information Booth carries flyers for all festivals and other events of interest to Northern California bluegrass fans. The booth will provide information throughout the upcoming bluegrass event season.

The first booth outing this year will be on March 14, 2026.Ā Now is the time for promoters and bands to send in flyers for the booth volunteers to hand out. Send to:Ā Michael Hall, 610 Island Place, Redwood City, CA 94065. Flyers will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

KKUP Bluegrass, Folk & Country Marathon This Weekend With Live Music

The annual KKUP Bluegrass, Folk & Country Marathon is this weekend at 91.5FM in the South Bay and Monterey Bay Areas and online at <www.kkupfm.org>. This is the way radio should be all year long, with great music on 24 hours a day.

NCBS Vice President Mike Russell and President Michael Hall will host 3 shows with live music during the marathon, Saturday 9:00pm-Midnight, Sunday 9:00am-Noon, and the Marathon Wrap-up show during Monday Night Bluegrass, Monday 6:00-9:00pm.

Charlie Cran Celebration Of Life Set For Saturday February 14

Everyone is welcome to join the Strawberry Music Festival Family in celebrating the life of one of its founders, Charlie Cran. The gathering will be on Saturday, February 14, Noon-5:00pm, at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora.

Please note the previously listed channel for the Hog Ranch Radio’s broadcast was incorrect. Hog Ranch Radio will broadcast the Celebration onĀ 94.3 FMĀ to the Sonora area, starting at 11:30 am.
