Bean Creek Set For May 8 Appearance At The NCBS/SCBS Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair

Bean Creek will perform on May 8 (note new date) at the 2021 Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair to be held at The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.Ā 

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society will present the fair on four Saturdays,Ā April 17 & 24Ā andĀ May 1 & 8.

Note the new Bluegrass Fair location as the Duck Pond Stage location in San Lorenzo Park is not available this year.

Three bands will perform in a no admission show each Saturday afternoon starting at Noon in an outdoor restaurant setting with beautiful mountain views. The Summit House will offer informal food and drinks. Raffle tickets are now on sale.Ā TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass SocietyĀ is a longtime organizational member of theĀ International Bluegrass Music Association, which is affilated with the IBMA Foundation. NCBS president Michael Hall serves on the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

TheĀ Z MandolinĀ is a beautifully handcrafted work of art and a modern take on the classic F-Style mandolin, a fully custom design inspired by traditional instruments. Advanced carbon-fiber materials produce an instrument that is lightweight, durable, and less susceptible to dents, cracks or scratches than wooden stringed instruments. TheĀ NCBS-Welcomed Bluegrass SeriesĀ at theĀ Summit House will bring The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers with special guests Still Searchin’ in a FREE show this SATURDAY AFTERNOON, April 10, 2:00-4:00pm.

The top of Highway 17Ā in theĀ Santa Cruz MountainsĀ is where live bluegrass is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill. The series happens every Saturday afternoon.Ā This show with limited seating is atĀ 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south ofĀ Los Gatos. The Summit House will offer food and drinks.
