The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a California Not-For-Profit Corporation with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) status and is also known as the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. The Society accepts donations which may be tax deductible. NCBS promotes bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and in all of Northern California.
