The Saturday, March 18, 2017 Stanley Sing will be held at a new location — the La Promenade Cafe at 3643 Balboa Street in San Francisco.
The FREE 3:00-10:00pm program is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The bluegrass musicians who stage the show will take turns performing favorite songs of The Stanley Brothers and related bands.
The performers will include Windy Hill (Thomas Wille, Ryan Breen), Eric Embry, The Hossettes (Angela Personini, Hailey Pexton, Karen Wilhoyte), Josh Tharp (of Keith Little’s Band), High Country (Larry Cohea, Jim Mintun), Keystone Crossing (Larry Carlin, Claudia Hampe), Bernal Hillbillies (Larry Chung, Bill Foss, Martha Hawthorne, Scot Brenton, Amy Scher), Ted Kuster, Town Howlers (John McKelvy), Chris Smith (The Mighty Crows), Chuck and Jeanie’s Country Round Up, Skillet Licorice (Matt Knoth, Elise Engelberg), Tom Diamont, and Paul Shelasky (house fiddler).
